What’s All Saints Day?

November 2 @ 12:46 pm

Our canonized brothers and sisters gaze steadily today on the merciful face of God on your behalf. Additionally, our faith instills ardent hope and confidence that our departed loved ones, after having received purification from spiritual stains, also enjoy the unfathomable goodness of God while keeping you in their hearts and prayers:

“The witnesses who have preceded us into the kingdom… constantly care for those whom they have left on earth…” (Catechism of the Catholic Church #2683).

“In the crosses of life that come to us, Jesus offers us opportunities to help Him redeem the world. Let us profit by His generosity.” (Blessed Solanus Casey)

“Those from whom I receive the greatest consolations and encouragement are those whom I know to be dwelling in Paradise.” (St. Teresa of Avila)

“If you embrace all things in life as coming from the hands of God, and even embrace death to fulfill His holy will, assuredly you will die a saint.” (St. Alphonsus Liguori)

“Sanctify yourself, and you will sanctify society.” (St. Francis of Assisi)

The Sisters pray daily for our friends and benefactors.
